IMPORTANT! These terms of service governs use of this site. By accessing this website you are indicating your acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms of use laid out below. These terms are subject to change at any time by our discretion, your use of this site after such changes are implemented constitutes your acknowledgement and acceptance of these changes. Please consult this website prior to any booking or payment.
By making a booking with Wahida Finlay Hypnotherapy, Quit Smoking Fast or any other company owned by Wahida Finlay it is hereinafter referred to as ‘WFinlay’
1 to 1 Sessions
Please be on time, & aim to on time for your appointment, please do not disturb if I have a notice up saying I am with clients.
I may have clients, because we need 50 minutes to a full hour for your session.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy.
Also be sure to call at least 24 hours in advance in the unlikely event that you need to reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so wastes the appointment time where I could be seeing other clients & will result in the loss of your deposit/fee/session. Any request to reschedule a session will not be unreasonably withheld.
Appointments booked less than 24 hours in advance cannot be cancelled or rescheduled without the full session fee being charged.
If an emergency requires WFinlay to cancel your session, as much notice as possible will be given to you. If this notice is less than 24 hours you will be entitled to a full refund for the session if you prefer not to reschedule. This will be processed within the above timescale. Results cannot be expected if you have less sessions as part of the product you purchased as they have been designed to be 4 session packages for effectiveness.
Sessions cancelled at less notice will incur a cost of half of the normal fee in the first instance and full fee for further instances.
Also as I operate from Wokingham or Ascot I have time spent travelling to get to your appointment failure to turn up leaves me with wasted travel time and dead time if I am waiting for my next appointment. In Cases of sudden illness other emergency I am free to exercise discretion with regard to fees for late notice cancellations. This will be at my own discretion.
Clients who forget, fail to arrive with no notice at all will incur a full fee charge for the missed session.
You are paying for an hour of therapy and that hour begins when our agreed time begins. It doesn’t begin upon your arrival.
Please do your best to be on time for every session the session is allocated to you for an hour. This begins at the allotted time as I may have clients immediately after you. If you are late then the session will be shortened.
Weekend and evening appointments are discretionary as I need to make arrangements for the care of my children. Please be respectful with my time and I will respect yours. Sessions may be recorded for Client & Hypnotist safety & security but never released. You will be advised if recordings will be made.
Punctuality
If you are running late or anticipate running late for your session, please leave a message (calls are not answered when working with a client) and the landline answer machine is in Wokingham. If your appointment is in Ascot Wahida will not hear it on the day as she will be contactable only by mobile if at ascot or send a text to 07702 604227. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate lost time, this is not always possible and therefore please understand that the session may have to finish at the originally scheduled finish time as another client maybe arriving.
Hypnotherapy Sessions and Fees
Each standard hypnotherapy session lasts approximately 50 to 60 minutes and Quit Smoking is 2 hours. The first session is always 90 Minutes as it includes 30 to 40 mins assessment followed by your therapy. Fees are subject to change at any time.
All session fees are payable in advance as only full payment secures the booking.
Additional fees may be payable for sessions provided outside of agreed times, geographical areas or timescales. Any additional fees will be advised in writing prior to the acceptance of any booking.
Payment methods accepted are: with any debit or credit card through the online scheduling system or cash at the time of your first appointment.
Invoices are issued on request.
Commitment, Standards of Behaviour and Code of Conduct
Hypnotherapy requires commitment and motivation to gain the best results. Part of the progress happens in the therapy room, and part is achieved through reflection or homework tasks.
As a client you commit to engage with the process both during the session and afterwards, by completing any homework and tasks that you are given to do before, during and after your session .
Throughout your therapy (inclusive of initial consultation/sessions) WFinlay will treat you with respect, including respecting your privacy and confidentiality
You in turn agree to treat with respect the privacy and confidentiality of all employees of WFinlay and its Associates.
If your conduct should contravene these standards, then WFinlay or any Associate of it reserve the right to terminate the session and or refuse any future sessions. Any payment for sessions made in advance will be forfeited.
All employees and associates of WFinlay adhere to the code of conduct as specified by the National Council of Psychotherapists
Therapy under the influence of alcohol or drugs
You agree to arrive on time for a session and not under the influence of drugs or alcohol unless it is medication prescibed by your GP. WFinlay reserves the right to refuse you admittance to the location concerned and may refuse therapy to proceed and WFinlay or associates will refuse to conduct the session. This will be at her sole discretion. The session will incur a full fee.
Contact outside of Sessions
Unless prior agreement is made, it is expected that there will not be any contact outside of sessions (unless for rescheduling or cancellation).
Contacting You
If it is necessary for WFinlay to contact you this will be done via your preferred method (as indicated on your Client Record Form, which is completed prior to or during your initial consultation ).
It is your responsibility to update WFinlay of any changes to your contact details. WFinlay cannot be held responsible for any costs incurred or associated with travelling to a cancelled session if your contact details have changed and these have not been advised.
If a telephone message is left for you, only the callers first name and telephone number will be left, and no mention of hypnotherapy will be made.

To aid clients to Quit Smoking or overcome their issues and challenges. These Task(s) are to be completed. The homework tasks are safe, ethical will not cost you any more money. Failure to do the Tasks renders the sessions void. You are paying for my Wahida’s time the results are free. Failure to comply to instructions before during and after sessions deems non compliance on your part, so you will not get the results expected as part of the program. Refunds are never given or offered as it creates secondary gain in the clients subconscious mind & enables the problem to continue. We will not be ethically responsible for human behaviour. All deposits & monies are non-refundable.
Liability
You will indemnify and hold WFinlay, its subsidiaries, affiliates, content providers, service providers, employees, agents, officers, directors, and contractors harmless from any breach of these Terms of Use by you, including any use of Content other than as expressly authorised in these Terms of Use. You agree that the company owner Wahida Finlay ‘WFinlay’ will have no liability in connection with any such breach or unauthorised use, and you agree to indemnify any and all resulting loss, damages, judgments, awards, costs, expenses, and attorney’s fees therewith. You will also indemnify and hold the the WFinlay harmless from and against any claims brought by third parties arising out of your use of the information accessed from this site.

BY ACCEPTING THIS AGREEMENT YOU WAIVE AND HOLD HARMLESS WAHIDA FINLAY OR HER COMPANIES FROM ANY CLAIMS RESULTING FROM ANY ACTION TAKEN BY HER DURING OR AS A RESULT OF ITS ENQUIRIES
Miscellaneous
MP3 Recordings are for the person that bought it. If you choose to share your recording with someone who is not suitable, has a heart condition, epilepsy, pregnancy or other condition which maybe affected by the hypnosis recording you hereby accept all responsibility and liability should anything happen to the person or persons you shared it with. It is against terms of service to distribute any MP3 or other content without express permission from the company.
Consumer Contracts Regulations
You have the immediate right to cancel any order made over the phone, by email, text or via the internet as per the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. Once therapy has started information as to the solution and recordings will be given to you if part of your package, a contract is thereafter legally binding with yourself and WFinlay and refunds and cancellations will not be permitted once you have had access to materials.
Confidentiality
Your privacy is of the utmost importance to WFinlay. Any information that is collected from you as a potential client or client, including contact details is held in the strictest of confidence and will never be shared with external parties without your express permission with the following exceptions:
Self-Harm: WFinlay may need to contact your GP if it appears that you are suicidal or intend to carry out serious self-harm.
Abuse/Injury to a Minor: WFinlay is legally required to report any abuse towards a minor to the appropriate authorities should you divulge any such information.
In order to meet Continuous Professional Development requirements, anonymous case histories are sometimes discussed with peer-support groups and supervisors. Please note that no personal details are ever shared.
If you see Wahida out and about in public she will not acknowledge you or say hello unless you do so first. This is to preserve your confidentiality and that you may be with others who you do not wish to know of your therapy. Please do not be offended it is for confidentiality unless you approach or acknowledge her first only then will she respond or acknowledge you
Therapy Duration
A committed and motivated client is likely to achieve their realistic goals. A cure is not guaranteed, and it would not be ethical to make this claim. A guide to therapy duration and the number of sessions required will be provided at the initial consultation however this will be regularly reviewed during your therapy and any changes to this will be discussed with you.
Therapy duration and number of sessions estimates are based on those provided to previous clients, however as all clients and conditions are unique these estimates are subject to change.
